Description
Certificates are fundamental components used to authenticate the identity of entities in online communication. Valid certificates issued by trusted Certificate Authorities (CAs) verify that the entity presenting the certificate is who they claim to be. This is vital for establishing trust in secure connections, such as those used in HTTPS.
