Jamf is Fluid Attacks' MDM system.

The main reasons why we chose it over other alternatives are the following:
  1. It focuses on macOS and iOS devices.
  2. It supports Apple Business, critical for being able to maintain full control of devices. 
  3. It supports custom policies, which considerably increases flexibility.
  4. It supports disk encryption, critical for information security.
  5. It supports blocking devices, critical for eventualities like thefts.

Alternatives

Kandji

  1. It focuses on macOS and iOS devices.
  2. It supports Apple Business, critical for being able to maintain full control of devices. 
  3. It supports custom policies, which considerably increases flexibility.
  4. It supports disk encryption, critical for information security.
  5. It supports blocking devices, critical for eventualities like thefts.
  6. It is much newer compared Jamf.
  7. Although it supports less use cases overall, it is potentially more reliable than Jamf.
  8. It has a cleaner and easier to understand UI.
Kandji looks like a very solid alternative to Jamf, especially in terms of reliability and user experience.

Usage

We use Jamf for implementing security and monitoring controls over all of Fluid Attacks' devices, including laptops and smartphones.
